Avaduthan says that once upon a time there lived two mate pigeons in a forest. They have been living together for years. So the attachment for each other also came and when the children were born, both were absorbed in nurturing them and became attached to them too and they fell into the realm of delusion. They thought of nothing but this happy family.
One day the male pigeon and the female pigeon went to look for prey. Then a hunter came and caught the baby birds in a net. When the pigeons returned, they saw that the chicks were trapped in the net, and the female pigeon's heart began to wail, seeing the miserable condition of the chicks. Overwhelmed with unbearable grief, the male pigeon began to wail in various ways as he threw himself into the net and waited to see it.
It kept wailing, my wife and children are caught by the hunter, how can I live without them, my everything is destroyed, how can I live without my wife, so the male pigeon jumped into the net, crying and squeezing,What a pity, they are all tied up. Can anyone save them?
It is not possible, so why do we jump into that situation ourselves. What is the benefit of it?
Do you know what the hunter did? He took everything very happily.

This is a foolish attachment, How can I live without it today? and it is not right to indulge in it. Such attachment is of no use because it is not possible to save the one who is waiting for death or himself, so what is the benefit.
So don't indulge in such foolish belief. This is the lesson I learned from the homing pigeons.

For there to be fear, there must be a second object, and a second object is consciousness. "Absolute Consciousness is Brahmam" "You are that Brahmam" "This soul is Brahmam" If one meditates on the meaning of such great words, one will have the ...
