Spiritual thinking: A lesson learned from the moth and the bee

The lesson given by Moth is that there should be no attachment to forms, when one sees a form, one becomes attached to the flame of fire. Self-destruction.  According to the same, men are attracted by form and destroy themselves.  Male form for woman and female form for man are attractions.  There are forms of other attractive material things that are appealing to the mind. Losing his wits, he jumps into them, paving the way for his own destruction. Humans must be grasper of knowledge . This is the lesson of the bee. The honey-gathering flies go to the flowers and collect their essence. The lesson I learned from this is that life should not accumulate in one place.  If you get to know something of interest from somewhere, you should understand it and understand the essence of all books, big and small, even if a child says something that shows intelligence, you should understand it.  I also give it is not relevant whether it is a child or an old man or a woman or...

Spiritual thinking: A lesson taught by the ocean

Avadutha says how many rivers flow into the ocean, but there is never a flood in it, not only this, even if the rivers dry up or the water recedes, it does not affect the ocean, there is no change in it, it serves as a constant.  Its existence does not depend on the rivers and it is self-sufficient whereas those rivers merge with the ocean and acquire the vastness of the ocean and become the ocean itself. Najiketas was tempted by King Yama in many ways but he did not succumb to any of the temptations. On that occasion, Najiketas was restless like the vast ocean. As the ocean should have a solidity in its nature, just like in the shallow waters there is constant agitation in our mind, while the waves are visible on the surface of the ocean but it is infinite, calm and deep.  According to the same, the seeker should work tirelessly, regardless of whether he experiences pleasure or not, and when this happens, all the senses become enlightened in his form.  Because of this kn...

Spiritual thinking: A lesson learned from the python

Remember the python that devours a whole sheep or anything that comes in front of it and if it is not available then it will gobble up. Not even bothering to move. Avadutha is a person who practices asceticism. Learned to find happiness in the unexpected, and learned that there is no need to rush and walk too much. To eat the good fortune at the right time, even if you don't get anything, or if you don't get enough, sit still. Do not have anger in your mind. Not everyone likes to say this because from their point of view this vision and philosophy is not correct. Asking to just sit back and do something? But listen carefully to one thing that has been said here, do not get a little worried that the Lord will give you something, but do not ask for anything. You will surely get what you deserve.  This is absolutely true but don't move from your position just sit there and everything will come and join. But don't keep craving for any object in your mind. Dattatreya is an A...

Spiritual thinking: A lesson learned from mate pigeons

Avaduthan says that once upon a time there lived two mate pigeons in a forest. They have been living together for years. So the attachment for each other also came and when the children were born, both were absorbed in nurturing them and became attached to them too and they fell into the realm of delusion. They thought of nothing but this happy family. One day the male pigeon and the female pigeon went to look for prey. Then a hunter came and caught the baby birds in a net. When the pigeons returned, they saw that the chicks were trapped in the net, and the female pigeon's heart began to wail, seeing the miserable condition of the chicks. Overwhelmed with unbearable grief, the male pigeon began to wail in various ways as he threw himself into the net and waited to see it.  It kept wailing, my wife and children are caught by the hunter, how can I live without them, my everything is destroyed, how can I live without my wife, so the male pigeon jumped into the net, crying and squeezin...

Spiritual thinking: A lesson learned from fire

Look at fire, how extraordinary it is. It is brilliant, it cannot be suppressed, it cannot be grasped by anyone, because it keeps going up and up.  An exalted person i.e. a person of noble character, superior qualities and profound wisdom, no one can insult him, not even touch him, but he who continues to descend, i.e. he who goes down, is insulted, he can be banished, so he must become like fire, ascending and radiant. Whatever is placed in the fire is incinerated or purified; even if everything is eaten, it remains so.  In spite of all this, impurity or harm does not affect fire, it is pure by itself, sometimes it is visible and sometimes it is invisible, and so should the Sadhaka.

Spiritual thinking : A lesson learned from the sun

Avadutha says.. The sun receives water from the ocean and then leaves it on the earth.  Similarly, the practitioner should accept subjects and then give them up.                Everywhere the sun reflects and it reflects in many forms but the sun remains one.  It does not become many and it does not become distorted as a result of the transformation of what it reflects, according to which our Self appears to be many because of the bodily means but it is one, this I learned from the Sun.               We still have many things to learn from Sun. Everything happens in this world because of Sun.             Sun is the source of energy and so we should become the source of happiness for everyone's inner strength. In"Upanishad" it is said that sun is the eyes of the world which means it illuminates everything but does not get attached to anyone's good or bad. This is the ...

Spiritual thinking: A lesson learned from the moon

Avadutha  says...... we see 16 Kalas waxing and waning in the moon.  On the full moon day, the moon appears full.  The moon is completely invisible during the new moon day.  Does the Moon really have aging processes?  No. According to this, our body undergoes aging.  We feel that I have become big, fat, thin, or I was a child, now young, matured, or old, I am not growing, not getting tired, not getting old, it is always oneness.  Allegedly. Due to the organs like body, soul, mind etc. we are attributed with weakness of strength, pleasures and sorrows, fullness, weakness and so on.  But there is no change in our true nature. Flames undergo births and deaths moment by moment and in the same way our bodies also undergo the trees of births.  But it is not reflected due to ignorance.  Even though we sit in the midst of all transformations, our own originality, the soul, remains unyielding to any transformation. This is the lesson learned from...

Spiritual Thinking: sky principle

It is the sky that provides a place for everything, including sun, moon, planets, solar system, rivers, oceans, mountains and trees.  It is called sky because it gives space and space for all to support. How generous and wide is the rain here, storms are blowing, but because they are subtle, they do not cling to anything. We should make our hearts as generous and wide as this. Avaduthan says this is what I learned from the sky principle, if the heart becomes as generous and wide as the sky, there will be room in the heart, if there is room in the heart, there will be room outside.  There will be space. A person gets on the train and says that he wants to be given some space to sit. A person who travels sitting first asks where is the space?  But at the same time, if he sees an acquaintance, he calls him and gives him a seat.  Then there is space because they had space in their hearts.
